Why 316L stainless steel?

Most stainless steel lunch boxes use 304 — a good, food-safe grade. We went a step further. 316L stainless steel contains added molybdenum, which gives it much higher corrosion resistance against acidic and salty foods — think tomato pasta sauce, citrus, vinaigrettes and soy-based dressings. 316L is the same grade used in medical and marine-grade applications.

Care, cleaning & reheating
